AURA KOREA (“AURA,” “we,” “us”) publishes this policy to explain how we process personal data through our website and email in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

This policy applies to the Korean, English and Spanish versions of our website and their inquiry functions.

Personal data we collect

We may process the following information to answer an inquiry and assess a potential collaboration.

Purposes and legal bases

  • Identifying the sender, receiving an inquiry and providing a response

  • Pre-contractual discussions and follow-up concerning NDA, LOA and commercial terms
  • Maintaining inquiry history, handling disputes and preventing duplicate or abusive requests
  • Maintaining website reliability and preventing security incidents

Depending on the applicable law, processing is based on your request and steps taken before a contract, consent, legal obligations or our legitimate interest in managing business inquiries securely. Without the necessary information, we may be unable to respond or assess a collaboration.

Retention and deletion

Electronic records are deleted in a manner designed to prevent recovery, and paper records are shredded or destroyed. Records retained under law are separated from actively used data.

Disclosure to third parties

We do not sell personal data or ordinarily disclose it to third parties. We may disclose limited information where you have separately consented, where disclosure is required by law, or where it is necessary to protect life or physical safety in an emergency.

If an inquiry must be shared with END Group or another execution partner for a brand review, we will first explain the recipient, purpose, data, and retention period and obtain any consent required by law.

Service providers and international transfers

We may use specialist providers for website hosting, email delivery and security operations. We require them by contract to process personal data only as needed to provide the relevant service and to protect it appropriately.

This website is currently operated in a local development environment. Before public launch, we will identify the actual hosting, email and form-delivery providers and update this section with their names, services and retention standards.

We do not currently intend to transfer inquiry data outside Korea. Before using an overseas cloud, analytics, CRM or live-chat service, we will disclose the recipient, country, data, purpose, timing and method, and retention period, and complete any process required by law.

Cookies and access logs

The website may use essential cookies or similar technologies for language settings, administrator login, security and core functions. We do not currently use advertising or marketing-tracking cookies for general visitors.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, although blocking essential cookies may affect some functions. If analytics or third-party live chat is enabled, we will update this policy and provide a consent interface where required.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of, restriction of processing of, or withdrawal of consent concerning your personal data. Please send a request to contact@aurakorea.kr. We will verify the requester and respond within the period required by applicable law.

A request may be limited where it would affect another person’s rights, trade secrets or a legal retention obligation. Residents of the EU or EEA may also have rights to object, data portability and to lodge a complaint with their competent supervisory authority where the GDPR applies.

Security measures

  • Limiting access to people who need it for their work
  • Using HTTPS and account-security controls
  • Applying security updates, backups, logging and anomaly reviews
  • Securely deleting data when its retention period ends
  • Supervising service providers and personnel who handle personal data

No internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please avoid including sensitive information that is not needed for our business review.
